So what did you guys think of M:UA 2? I planning on playing it again. Was it a popular game when it was released? Who's your favourite character(s) from the game? Mine's Spider-man I think they did him quite well. Do you still play it? Just a little disscussion about the game. Don't know how it will go...

Unless I played with my friends I wasn't a huge fan, UA1 was pretty fun solo but 2, meh.

Always a fan of Thor though.

I preferred the first one as well. I liked the story of the first one more - it was consistently about the same thing the whole way through. With the second one they wanted to do the Civil War, but quickly forgot that in favour of nano-machines, son.

I've never played the first one, also how do you unlock Thor? Have I missed something because I haven't been able to. Same goes with Hulk...

First one was much better. I've played both, and the first wins, hands down. It's much longer and the character options are far better. The only thing 2 had up was improved graphics. You can also get the deluxe first edition, which includes 8 additional characters (on 360). 2 has 5 bonus characters no longer available. If you didn't get them when they came out, you can't. Ever. So second is a serious letdown, because I have long distance friends that I can't play/use psylocke, cable, carnage, juggernaught, or black panther with. They even removed the option to download a patch that let you see those characters if someone else was using them. Total fail.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.

Mods for the first game will get you a whole host of new characters, including people like Cyclops, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Moonknight, Hawkeye and a bunch of others.

I play on PS3, so I can't mod, I tried the DLC but I think thats unsupported now. I'd like to play as Cyclops though, sounds pretty cool.

Cyclops is only available for MUA2 if you get the Wii or Ps2 version. If you want to play him on 360, you need the deluxe of MUA1. I don't even think that game came out on PS3...so...if you're dead set on MUA2, you need the PS2 version to play as Cyclops (and the PS2/Wii versions were supposedly worse than the others, which were already really bad).

It was fun, but I agree with others that the original M:UA was better. They simplified the character options quite a bit between the two games. You can play as Green Goblin in this 2, so it has that going for it.
