I'd like to try the Morkanaut before I drop over a hundred bucks on one so I plan on throwing one together using foamcore and cereal boxes and stuff. I'm a little unclear on the size of the thing though. I assume it goes on a Large Oval Base but that seems too small judging from all the pics I've seen. It looks about twice as tall as a Kan, but that's all I got. I like to make my scratchbuilds as close to the actual model as I can so any help would be appreciated. The actual dimensions would be awesome...

I forget the link, but search for the Mr. Potato Head Stompa, that might be the right direction for you (although I think the Stompa is MUCH bigger than the *orkanaut)

A 'naut is about 5.5 inches, I think. They are on the large oval base (the one the imperial knight is on) and are just a bit shorter than a knight. Hope this helps!

Krush, stomp, kill!

Ah yes, all this does help. Thanks a bunch!

Love the Mr. Potato Head Stompa, I remember seeing a WIP for one a while ago and couldn't stop laughing!

While on the theme of awesome ork walkers, the ork-a-chu always gets me

Isnt the stompa fairly larger than mr potato head though?

Not 100% sure on the scale.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

You're right, it's much bigger - but I posted it (on top of the Mr Potato Head image) to show an awesome conversion that could be applied to the Morkanaut.

What could be more bad-ass than a Morkachu zapping electricity out its metallic rump with a kustom mega-kannon?

i test played the gorkanaut just with a giant steel mug a little bit bigger than a BW with everything on it. Do a couple of battles with it and you'll know it's worth it for converting/buying or not.

Dakka is the ork word for shooting, but the ork concept of shooting is saturation fire. Just as there is no such thing as a "miss" in a target-rich environment, there is no such thing as a "dodge" in a bullet rich one

I'm working on one too. Never seen the real one in person, but the pics of GW bundles help. It's about half as tall as a Stompa.
