Changing Our Legion's Name
|
Hello,
I am having a hard time understanding unbound armies. Can I run my grey knights with say, eldar? And if so, I only still need one warlord yes?
Also, if that was the case, would my librarian be able to cast on my eldar units?
I guess they have not made this clear to me...
Any help would be great!! Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, can I take more than one fortification??

Ok, so I'm going to state this as clearly as possible.
You can literally take anything. As long as the units has the permitted wargear and is correctly pointed as per the codex, you can do what you like.
Take a Land Raider, Annihilation Barge, Crimson Hunter and a Dreadknight. All legal.
You can cast as though they were battle brothers, and take any fortifications you desire.

Thank you!
I heard you could only take on fortification, so I was confused.
And as long as I nominate one unit as a warlord, I can take anything, with anybody, as battle brothers.
Thanks

Not as Battle Brothers. I think all the normal ally interaction rules apply, so no sharing of non-BB transports or casting on Allies of Convenience ect.

Normal ally rules apply. The only thing removed is the Force Organization.

Yes, all normal ally rules apply, so BBs can share/cast ect. The FOC is the only thing that goes, giving access to as many fortifications as you like.

That's the one.
Think I got mistaken. Largely because my unbound stuff is all Imperium of Man.
