Hi, it's my first post here and I'm more into the books and painting than tabletop gaming. I am in the middle of creating a loyalist Raven Guard successor chapter and renegade White Scars warband.
I wanted your opinion on what color is the best looking, so here they are:

Loyalists:

The gold and white looks good but on the tabletop may be lacking in contrast unless you go for more of a bone colour white, or a darker coloured gold.

The green and black colours look best IMO for the loyalists.

That's not really a white - rather a bone color, and I would add a complementary color to the HQ's to make them stand out.

I'm with jah-joshua - really digging the bone and burgundy. Keep it dark and they'll be nice and menacing, while still reflecting the original scheme.

Green and black is my pick of the presented loyalist schemes. Doesn't grab me, like the renegade one does, but it's definitely not bad.

Not sure about the bone/gold, but really like the bone/red and bone/black. Silver/gold would probably be pretty cool.

As for the loyalists, the colors look really good, but that's because I love the DA and your color scheme is very close to standard DA. I would recommend either adding an addition color to your loyalists or doing an arm/leg or halved. As they stand, they are too close to DA to not be pointed out.
