Hi All,

I have the privileged to be in Germany during Essen this October and I'd like to attend the convention. I see I can pre-purchase passes but is that something I need to do? Do they sell out or have horrific lines (like Gencon in the US)?

I want to attend for 2 (maybe 3) days and plan to get 4-day pass.
Any recommendations or advice would be great - Thanks!

It's been some time since I've been there but usually the wait is less then half an hour to get in even at the worst times. If you get there early enough at the first day, you should be pretty quick. And if not, having the ticket will net you fast access the days after.
