Can anyone point me in the direction of some platforms for razorback turrets?
I have 4 Forgeworld Tarantula bases but way more turrets than that and may want to field them all at some point. So far all I've turned up so far are the Puppets War Bunker Bases which are cool, but look more like fixed positions than portable gun platforms.
Cheers

What about the puppetswar tracked platforms? I used one with the mk2 assault cannon turret for my quad gun counts as.

You could always try some left over rhino hatches (or rather the razorback hatch, that comes with the rhino) and maybe put some kind of legs on them or something.

Flinty - how do those scale up? The tarantula 'legs' are about 55mm x 55mm, I'd like to avoid going noticeably bigger than that if possible. Did you have any casting issues? (Puppets War are a bit notorious at this point)
davethepak - alas my scratch-building skills are fairly non-existent.
KillKrazy - As far as I can tell, you can't get the fortification base separately from a gun and I really don't need any more guns!
Thanks guys.

Hi sockwithaticket, you could contact bitspudlo and ask to buy some of the platform bases without guns.
The two items undoubtedly are in separate moulds as the same base is used for all the different weapons. It should be fairly easy for them to cast up some bases separately for you.
Worth asking at any rate!

IIRC the ADL and TFC bases are the same size as the razor turret. It’s a pretty standard size in the IoM.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do |

I bought three turrets from this company. I am very happy with the detail and quality. The price is also excellent.

KillKrazy - true enough, nothing ventured nothing gained and all that.
Nevelon - interesting, I'll have to look into getting those without all the other bits and pieces as I don't want to break the bank on this.
agnosto - thanks for trying
Rurik - I wish. I lack the skill and time unfortunately. That looks really good btw.
Just in case anyone else out there might have some ideas I'm trying to get as close to this (minus the gun) as possible:
