The paintjob looks decent enough but it would help if the light wasn't behind him as he's in shade in each of the pictures and there's a lot of glare from the light as well.

Yeah, take him outside on a sunny day, it's about the only way i can get a good shot of my guys.

Is the linework on the tabard over his chest free-hand? Very nice work if it is, and even if it was a raised line it's still smooth and solid.

The sword is excellent as well, i like the choice of purple, it goes well with his armor!

Very moody shots, he looks like he is about to take on those Necrons in the background!

Looks nice though, clean and accurate paintjob and colour looks good. Think it would look better with the bulb positioned behind you when you are taking the photo for when you do some more.

Hey guys! thanks for the feedback. I would have taken him outside, though unfortunately we had a major storm and I was just sooo excited having completed him. The sword is actually Blue though I can see from the photo the comparison. I actually spent 3+ hours mucking around learning that technique to get it right. The chest piece is his coat and is raised.

I see the blue now, I'm just colorblind enough to have trouble when its close, and was on phone earlier. It looks good, I'm gonna have to try that form with the airbrush, my blending by hand is pretty weak and I'd probably need more than the three hours .

Anyway, looks good!

Its actually really easy, Just need 3 colors, light to dark, White and black. Some paint thinner and away you go, Main techniques are layering with glazes and feathering.
