I just noticed the new "direct link to this post" feature and wanted to give my thumbsup orkmoticon to whoever came up with that / implemented it. That's a nice feature, and I can imagine it saving a great deal of hassle.

Yeah, it's just that nobody knew about it

Oh, yeah, I didn't know at all.
I'd been pushing the quote button, and then copying the second string of numbers after the name between the quote brackets, and then manually adding the # and then pasting the number.
I feel a bit silly knowing there was ALWAYS an easier way, but whatever, either way it's now easier for me at least.

It was certainly well hidden before, and that is why I added the easier to find link. Now everyone can get linking and bring in more eyeballs to Dakka
