So i'm considering switching from dark angels to blood angels. I was curious, what is more dead 'ard? sanguinary guard or deathwing? SG have the same armor save, access to FNP everywhere via sanguinary priests, chaplains, and seemingly better damage output, but no invuln saves. DW on the other hand can get 3++ storm shield saves,5+ invulns base, and can vary up their equipment a bit more from what i can see, but to get FNP, i have to invest 85 points into the banner of fortitude which only works within one foot.
Really, i'm already sold on blood angels, but i can't decide if i want to keep my deathwing, or if i want to use sanguinary guard (if they're similar). Kind of seems pointless to keep dark angels stuff for just my deathwing only.
what do you guys think?

You can run a decent Deathwing only army. BA are good, but are VERY CC heavy. You'll be doing a lot of drop pods, storm ravens, jump pakcs, etc. Deathwing are mainly CCs in Landraiders, can do some good shooting too, and can deepstrike without drop pods automatically on turn 1 or 2 (your choice) and get twin-linked on shooties when they drop in.

I play both, and personally, it comes down to one thing, do you prefer more mobile, but slightly more fragile units, or tougher but slower units?
SG being the former, DW the latter, I don't run either in my lists really atm, as both are, in the end, poor choices.
(personally, I love the SG models, so would run those over the DW, also I like mobile infantry.)

Both are good, and probably work well together. The Sanguard, especially with a character, are a scalpel, and should use their mobility to get to their prime targets and chop some heads. The Deathwing in this case are a hammer, and using their access to heavy weapons and fists/hammers, should focus on taking out heavier targets.
