A lot of them on the market are far better looking, especially if your not an imperial player. My question is, outside friendly games, would you raise an objection if someone were using them in a tournament setting you paid to enter for shots at prizes? Assume that the lines have the exact same measurements in widths (and are broken up exactly like the GW one, 4 short 4 long with exact same lengths) but possibly not exactly as high as the standard ones, possibly 1/4 inch taller or shorter.

warhammer 40k mmo. If I can drive an ork trukk into the back of a space marine dread and explode in a fireball of epic, I can die happy!

No in tourneys. Doubly so if it's at all taller.

Don't see why not if it meets all requirements including height.

The answer to this can only be given by the TO.

Yes ask TO.

My area is OK with it as long as your paying the points. Not everyone's troops are Imperial size so anything relative to the army in height is fine around here.

It's my codex and I'll cry If I want to.

Tactical objectives are fantastic

This; only the TO for that specific event can answer this question for you.

Just check with the TOs of the events you're planning on going to.

Only the TO can answer, but as a TO, if it matches the dimensions, sure.

Most tournaments I've been at encourage specially adapted armies and I have played against a couple of non-standard aegis lines. Check with TO, as everyone is saying (not allowed at Games Workshop events for sure).

up to TO, or league organizer.

If its anywhere close I think most players would not care for a pick up game.

I prefer when people have fortifications that look like their armies, as it helps "forge the narrative"

I have never heard of a TO of a major tourney not allowing something like this. (assuming it was about the right size....)

They allow them at my store and around my area for tournaments. I love the scratch built stuff so I am glad.

I'd so rather the Nids use something like this rather than an imperial one.

I've used a set to fit the look of my Eldar for a couple of years now and I've never had a single person ever bring it up as an issue. I've used them in games ranging from pick up, local tourneys and GTs.

No earth shattering, thought provoking quote. I'm just someone who was introduced to 40K in the late 80's and it's become a lifelong hobby.

Sarigar props to all your opponents. Like I said I'd rhater each race use their own defense line or building.

This just looks sooo cool.
