Unhealthy Competition With Other Legions

Has the move from 6th to 7th drastically changed anything? Because I can't be arsed to go about changing my list up.

Other than a few assault rules (like hitting tanks and assaulting into cover), chariots, FMCs and general increased vehicle durability there are not many huge changes, more like minor tweaks and rebalances.
If you use things like counterattack, blind or split-fire you need to notice the changes to them, also if you got defensive grenades
If you "don't want to be arsed to make a new list", posting it will help us know if anything changed on your side, but you really ought to learn the changes for what you face, FMCs got a massive change, and MCs in general are a bit less of an automatic melee beatstick too.

I wouldn't say "minor tweaks only".
Area cover is gone, except for craters. Jink is now taken when being shot at, giving 4+ cover, even in the first turn. FMCs only check once for crashing to the ground... all this alone changed a lot and changed what lists you have to expect.
Search the net, there are some lists with all rule changes.
Concerning your army list: just play it a few times and see how everything runs. I had to do a few games to fully grasp what those changed grounding checks did to the game.

The biggest difference is psychic powers. There's now an entire phase for it between the movement and shooting phase. Casting a power is completely different and you might want to become familiar with the phase even if you don't have psyckers because you still get a chance to counter powers.

allies matrix changed a bit. want to ally in some beasties from nids? it is legal now. want to use nothing but long fangs and rune priests? that is legal too. battle brothers in an ally's transport? come ahead brother! oh, and no JotWW.

If you have a lot of drop pods, drop pods are better. Really vehicles on the whole got a bit harder to kill, which is nice. Also, deepstriking pods fire as though they entered at combat speed, which is fun.
Psychic powers got a worse, but they're still useful.
You can tank shock and shoot now, which is fun.
There are many more.
