I recently got the thumb out of my arse to actually start playing Warhammer 40k, i play Orks exclusively.

I bought the Sanctus Reach box when it was released, I am personally quite well versed in the lore of warhammer specially considering the only longtime friends I have that do play 40k only plays Chaos Space marines or Space marines....and I kind of grew tired of it so buying a box with orks suited me perfectly.

There at the local Games Workshop store I met a man who preached to me that Orks "is the only army, there is no other army" and he convinced me to sell off the Space Wolves which i didn't really mind since i'd rather want to put all my efforts into a single army instead of having to build two.
So i got the Sanctus Reach Orks, the Codex and the OPbjective cards. I am allthough going to upgrade to the Warboss edition, it's worth the extra money.

I am planning to have a shooty ork army with Elite melee, at this stage I haven't planned much then finishing the sanctus reach units except for i am not sure if i should take the grots and made them into grot riggers as I am planning to build a battlewagon and looted wagon pretty soon and then it would obviously help to make the grethcins into grot riggers.
I also can't say i am a huge fan to have 3 Power Klaws in a single army as I might be playing 750 and 1750 points. The reason being for the powerklaw is that I don't like the fact that they hit last, sure its Strenght 10 but they fight last.

I would like to be able to make a pdf list of what I am planning to get feedback, but I wasn't able to export the roster into a PDF file.
My warbossy friend is going to build my army as I lack time so he's going to make a post on the forum in a week or two when he starts building it all.

hi and welcome to dakka! that kit sold out pretty quick good grab. pk it actually is not st10 it will double your strength and 3 of them may not be enough, but if you are referring to the ones on the kans that came in the box they got nerfed to str7, and i would suggest running a different unit for your hs.
was a good value but play wise sw half is much better

actually i forgot the nobs and i wouldnt model them with the pk, points wise it is cheaper to run mega nobz than pk nobz with eavy armour

That's kinda sad to be honest, that they got nerfed, what would be better for heavy support?, deff dread?

I am also going to put together a 750p list of orks to fight my friends crimson fists, he is mostly using infantry. So advice on that would be appreciated.

Aha your going Shoota style army well only 2 words come to mind when it comes to shooting Ork armies that have being buffed a while back with 7th edition coming out.... Flash Gitz, them as heavy support will dominate anything I believe, throw in some Killer Kan units and top it with a large Morkanaught (for mek boy based equip and such)

Also got that box set as well and Grukk rocks! (krom is gak)

His formation for having your army "teleporta" on to the field is awesome!

I might eventually build a Space Wolves army as well since if I ever am going to play somethign else than Orks it will msot likely be Space Wolves or CSM.

I am going to pout up a list that's a 1750p list, unfortunately it doesn't feel as fun as when I can get the chance to maybe invest in some heavier stuff like Stompa or something like that but its goign to take a while to do that and with a 1750p list a Stompa is not even close to worth having in it.
