I've always wanted to play grey knights does anyone know when their new codex will come?

Next year at the earliest. It's still capable of holding its own in 7th ed.

Ok so I shouldn't be worried about a new codex coming out when I buy the current one?

Seriously - if you wait for the 'newer' one to come out, you'll never get into the army (although given the pricing trends, your wallet WILL thank you for this).

There is a fairly credible rumor source saying Grey Knight codex is next. It is in my opinion a very trustworthy source (they were saying SW were next when everywhere else was spamming BA -- guess who was right?) So before next year if you trust such things.

That said, I think the SM portion of the army will stay fairly similar but I'd be gunshy about any FOC swap based lists (Coteaz, Draigo etc) as the new dexes have removed these in favor of formations.

It's a joke. You will be saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars if you don't start collecting because of the high prices GW charges for plastic crack.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Wouldn't hold your breath for their codex for awhile. If GW keeps up the trend of "Imperium then Xenos" we might be the last codex to be updated. My guess is mid to late next year.

I make bad decisions and think they are good.

Right.
Please have a look into the rumors section here at Dakka.

The next Sanctus reach box is GK, and shortly after the sw box they got a new codex, so there is don possibility they are up.

This is the most likely release schedule in my opinion
Dark Eldar
Blood angels
Some other faction that's not space marines
GREY KNIGHTS

If they really don't know what to update next, they could do without something between the BA and GK but I'd like to see that.

DE will hardly be next.

I guess that GK and BA will be next in this order.

Whether they are next or not [I believe it will be Blood Angels or Crons]

HQ: Don't need anything, but I can see some going away and a new one, a Chaplin would be a good add.

Troops: Another place where they don't really need anything. Maybe something like Scouts????

Elite: A very full section. A Librarian Dreadnaught and a Chapin Dreadnaught to go along with the Regular one.

Fast Attack: Jet Bikes would be a nice add. Stormravens I think will stay here unless they come up with another transport to make a FA like Orks=Truck, Space Wolves=Drop Pod.

Heavy Support: A Dedicated Gunship would be nice. A fire Support Dreadnaught maybe. I could see Centurions.

I say start getting in to the models right now. Even if a new codex drops, they arent going to change the basic troops, terminators, paladins or vehicles that much.

They may release a new HQ sculpt and might add another unique model, but for the most part the GK look pretty updated anyway.

Its purely speculation there even is a next Sanctus Reach box. No credible (with evidence and info) rumours at this point. All we have is "There's another box coming" and "I heard GK."

over there

You really don't need another army, you barely have a daemons, wait don't have a daemons allied detachment, only a bloodthirster. Focus, 40k favours those who are patient with one or two of their three armies.

The west is on its death spiral.

It was a good run.

Grey Knights with Allied Daemons is a pretty strong list. Just Say'n.
