I remember seeing this model when it was first released in metal oh so many years ago. Although I have never collected Space Wolves I always felt an affinity for Bjorn because he was a Dreadnought.

Awesome work as ever. I'm not a massive fan of the high-contrast style on Bjorn, but from a technical standpoint it's brilliant.

oh man these are great!! really like your paint style, very well executed.

but, i gotta say the crease on the assault cannon where the two halves meet.... it stuck out like a sure thumb to me. I'm sorry i said it, i don't ever even notice things like that, and i damn sure don't worry about them on my models. it's just so beautiful... then all i see is that!

On first sight it looks really awesome and I like youre choice of colors, but there are some minor things that really hurts me too see, especially on such well painted models:

- the assault cannon barrels: if you dont drill some holes please make at least a black dot.
- no painted lense of the bolt pistol scope

but the thing that hurts much:

- visible gaps between the assembled parts, especially on the assault cannon and exhaust...

Dont get me wrong, these to models are really great, but as somone who loves details those little things are making the difference between really good and perfect.

Painting is stunning but I have to agree about the mould lines and join lines being a bit of a retraction from the overall effect. Your model though so if you can live with it NP. Thanks for sharing, great work.

Cheers for the feedback guys.

Here's the old Wolf, Logan Grimnar:

Paints used: Vallejo, Reaper Master Series, Games Workshop Washes, Com Art Medea Airbrush Paints
Airbrush: Iwata CR Plus High Line
Paint Brushes: Rosemary & Co. Raphael 8040, Broken Toad Brushes

I used a new set of paints that I bought recently on the old wolf, Com Art Medea Airbrush acrylic and they are by far the best airbrush paints I have used. They're truly exquisite and the white didn't clog the airbrush (a common problem with lighter colours, especially white).

I've gone for a slightly toned down contrast for the armour and used muted metallics for the Old Wolf.

Awesome 10/10 stuff. I said that chariot would look amazing with a more subtle and less garish scheme, and it does!

God I love the Loganclaus chariot, absolutely epic. Great painting as well.

That is insanely nicely thick packed snow effects you managed to get there. Is that done with sodiumbicarb paste, or did you use something else?
