So I am done, this Knight is ready for battle ! Its named Imperator Gloria, and its color scheme is inspired from House Griffith

Great colors! Really a fan of the blue and red!

Only complaint would be that it looks way to clean. Weather that thing and it will look 10x better.

Very nice, but have to echo the above comment, could do with a little weathering

I'm not sure weathering is that much needed... but some of the colours could do with a bit more shading if you don't want to weather it all. White will be annoying to shade though...

I do not add weathering for several reasons :

First, I am very poor at making weathering

But the main reason is more fluff and W40k logic : The Imperial Knight are the war machines of most noble and traditionalist families in the Imperium. I can not believe that such peoples would tolerate scratches, broken parts or damaged paints on the most precious thing they will ever own.

That's a nice colour scheme, the white looks really clean and smooth. But on the other hand the model on the whole looks too plain and thus quite unfinished.
You should try to put some shades in the recessed parts of the model. especially the hinges / joints, the chainsword chain and the exhausts need some oily
effects. This will imho really improve the look of the model and it wouldn't collide with the Wh40k logic and your aversion to the weathering

Thanks Tristan, I have already shaded the mettalic parts, but another layer of washes would be a good idea.

probably the only weathering i'd do is make him have muddy feet. That color scheme makes me think of some pristine branch that keeps utmost care of their gear...like tau basically...but you cant keep the feet clean during battle lol.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.
