I have a normal big mek, and want to give him a KFF. How can I model one on a separate base? (I have lots of Bitz)

For the guy who leaves it all on the field (because he doesn't pick up after the game).

Any variety of gubbinz with a suitable power source and glow would work. Alternatively there is a bit for it in the Meganobz kit

GW tends to use things they see at power/utility substations to identify things like the KFF.

You can look to the real world for your own ideas.

You make it look like GW's apparently OOP model with a KFF.

Suitable bits can be sourced from the Gorka/Morka-naut, and the Mega-Armored Nobs box sets. You might check at bits resellers or talk to area ork players, as they may not be using these bits. The Imperial Pylons from the old SM/Tyranid box set could also serve as well.

I'm modeling mine to be a fungus beer-wagon pulled by a squig. I figure any model within 6" of the wagon is drunk enough to not care if they get shot, conferring a 5+ invul save.

You could really do anything you want, that's the glory of Orks.
