Howdy, guys! The purpose of this thread is to collect advice for this list:
Mogrok Formation:
* BigMek - KFF, Bike, Bosspole = 115
* Warboss - MegaArmr, BPole, LuckyStixx = 130
* BigMek Rokkit, BPole = 45
* BigMek - ShinyShoota, BPole = 50
* Warphead = 70
410

HQ:
* Warboss - Bike, PKlaw = 110
Troops:
* 18xBoyz - Shootas, 1xBShoota = 131
* 12xBoyz - Nob(PKlaw, BPole), Trukk(Ram) = 147
Elite:
* 7xTankbustaz - Trukk(Ram, Rokkit) = 126
* 4xMeganobz - Battlewagon(Ram, BShoota) = 265
Fast:
* 8xBiker = 144
Heavy:
* 5xMekGunz - Lobba = 60
* Battlewagon - BShoota, Ram = 105
1088
TOTAL:1498

And the most important one - is it better to stick MAboss to MANz in BW as is or to put fullsquad of Boyz in wagon with boss and cut MANz down to 3 in Trukk?

I am not undersanding your list at all. Why do you have all the HQ's? What is their purpose? You are spending so many points on them for what?

That's mogrok formation (3 bigmek . 1 Warboss 1 warphead) which I think is really good.

As for the list, I am not sure.
- You may not need a second warboss. Take a painboy instead for example. if you really want a Pk with the biker then upgrade one to Pk nob or give a Pk to the biker bigmek

- I would allocate the vehicules differently.
BW with tankbustas, BW with boys, trukk with Manz, trukk with boys
Painboy with tankbustas, MA boss with BW boys

Edit... :and correct, that Formation is quite expensive, maybe not that good at low points

What does the formation give you besides having that many HQ's?

Well, I probably had better revealed the plan. This formation provides Outflank to d3 units, one of which will bee tankbusta trukk(as it's the only one that will benefit, having possibility to shoot side/rear armour).
I wanted to take at least 2 BW to avoid having a single firemagnet. I also suppose the Bikeboss to be a kind of solo tankhunter, staying in a bikenob until possibility to turbocharge and deal with some threat. I also suppose that as each Mek is ld8 and sticked to a squad, the overall LD tests won't pose a threat.

If you go second I would have them outflank. If you go first keep the Tankbustas on the board to try to get Glory Hogs.

I also suppose that as each Mek is ld8 and sticked to a squad, the overall LD tests won't pose a threat.
But you only have space in two of the transports. The trukk boys is full so you can't add a Mek there.

I just think you could get so much more out of those points. If that is all they can do is give d3 units outflank and you only ever plan on one outflanking. Seems like a waste of points to me.

Where can I get a copy of the mogrok formation?

Alright, I got the point that this list sucks. The only purpose I see is to try running wagons and a Warphead. I never used any of them, so I'll probably get the vision of their pros and cons.

Its not your list sucks. Its more of what does the list do?

This isn't bad.

HQ:
* Warboss - Bike, PKlaw = 110
Troops:
* 18xBoyz - Shootas, 1xBShoota = 131
* 12xBoyz - Nob(PKlaw, BPole), Trukk(Ram) = 147
Elite:
* 7xTankbustaz - Trukk(Ram, Rokkit) = 126
* 4xMeganobz - Battlewagon(Ram, BShoota) = 265
Fast:
* 8xBiker = 144
Heavy:
* 5xMekGunz - Lobba = 60
* Battlewagon - BShoota, Ram = 105
1088

This on the other hand just makes me scratch my head.

Mogrok Formation:
* BigMek - KFF, Bike, Bosspole = 115
* Warboss - MegaArmr, BPole, LuckyStixx = 130
* BigMek Rokkit, BPole = 45
* BigMek - ShinyShoota, BPole = 50
* Warphead = 70
410

The point is to use 2 Warbosses(I adore Warbosses and have just finished biked one), KFF Mek and probably one more normal HQ without going multiple CADs (as many our tourneys prohibit allying with same faction). So is it possible anyway? If no, then I'll just leave 2 bosses and KFF Mek and use the normal CAD.

If you make the second BW a dedicated transport then you open up one more heavy slot. This way you can split your Mek Gunz into three squads.

You can have as many CAD's as you want. Unless the TO says otherwise, which I don't get. You just have to fill the 1 HQ 2 troops requirement.

I startedly madly scheming when I saw Mogrok's Bossboyz too, but I feel that in games under 2k points it's such a point sink that it's not really worth it. Also, because one of the meks HAS to be your warlord, you lose the ability to WAAAAGH!, which is rough. Really, it's an alternate method of closing with your opponent, but I think, especially at these points, you can do better.

Deffkoptas can outflank out of the box, which is nice. You can throw a warboss on a bike in with them, that's pretty scary zipping out behind your opponent's lines (though it means a turn 3 assault at the earliest, which is less than ideal...)

I haven't seen a lot of folks throw kommandos in lists yet, but with Snikrot to give them serious cover the turn they come in, and a few flamers or rokkit launchers, they could also cause trouble.

And don't abandon the warphead! In lower point games, they can be brilliant! The amount of shear havoc and distruction they can wreak for 70 points is stunning. Teleport your shootas across the board? Vehicle killing beam weapon? Enormous stompy foot crushing your opponents? Yes Please.

Oooh, also look through the Ghazkhul formations too! (kindly provided here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/601805.page )

it's a little more random that outflank, but you could have random units deepstrike in, which could be very fun.

As i currently see the problem with warpheads is that they just don't have a free slot to be used unless you go unbound. Or when you're playing a walker wall with a KFF morkanaught without any meaningful infantry squads and the list doesn't need more than 1 KFF mek or doesn't need a mek at all when you strike as a single 6' bauble.

He's not bad on his own but unlike other HQ's he's not mandatory.
