i'm making some chaotic tau broadsides and i want to replace the round ends of the high yield missile pods with spikes. so basically i want the same thickness of the cylinder, just to replace the round end with a sharp cone at a 30-40 degree slope.
so basically a natural replacement just with a sharp spike tip.

i have plastic rods, but i really dont want to grind down 80+ of these little buggers for all my broadsides.

i am having zero luck finding toothpicks that are sharp or thick enough... i've been looking for hours on the interwebs with no luck. checked with plastruct and didn't find anything small enough.

anyone have any idea where to get something like this?

Try bamboo skewers for kabobs and the like.

Cheap-O pencil sharpener. Insert rods angled up to blade, sharpen, cut to length, repeat a bajillion times.

Seconding the pencil sharpener idea.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Great idea on the pencil sharpener... Often the simplest solution is the best.
