Hey Dakka, 'tis rare that I post in these parts, but I was hoping for some advice.
I play Space Marines (Iron Hands successors) and plan on using the arms and legs from the Necron Warriors as cybernetic limbs. However, being how I am, I'd hate to waste the torsos, heads, and guns (green rod included, but not the arm "holding" the gun, I'll use that), does anyone have any suggestions at all for what I could do with them? Obviously I could use them as decorative corpses, but I'm open to any other ideas too!

I'll be using the scarabs that come with them to attempt at making a model for some homebrew rules, just in case anyone had a thought involving those (sorry).

Why do you want to use necron parts? They look so long and skinny next to normal marine armor. Hve you seen those?

If you really want to go with the necron parts:
The torsos with GS and additional spacing might work for marine torso fronts. Or maybe as chest armor for scouts? Make Iron Father torsos out of them? Use Torso back sides on terminators? Maybe as massive shoulder guards or cut to size and replace the vents on their back?

The guns ... maybe combine with plasma pistols counting as grav guns? Or something similar? Cut apart and add to your vehicles as special gizmos? Build a conversion beamer for a master of the forge. (Is that still a valid option in the current dex?) Cut the long bit away and put them together as some kind of battery cluster (On vehicle or as objective marker)?

For the skulls ... no idea. Trophies doesn't sond Iron Hand'y to me. Wound counter? Flick them at your opponent? (Not really ...)

I can't do online purchases (no card of any kind, I'm afraid).
Necrons are my best option, plus I actually own some already.

I was actually contemplating making some kind of grav weaponry with the guns, but I don't know if I'd end up using them. My marines don't use a lot of it (I have 2 Grav Guns and 3 Grav Cannons)
