Been Around the Block

Hi there,
I've been playing 40K for up to 3rd Edition (played a little with 1st, but my main edition was 2nd), then suddenly lost interest, because a) not enough people to game with, and b) GW in their immense wisdom decided that Germany should only receive German language books. In other words: they wanted me to stop caring. So I did.
Never lost sight of 40K though. I've played the DoW games excessively, and read a bunch of 40K novels here and there.
Thing is, I finally have some spare time on my hands, and as painting miniatures was always pretty relaxing (and finally a hobby that has nothing to do with my work), I thought why not give 40K another shot.
So here I am, with a metric ton of old miniatures (Chaos Marines, Tyranids, Eldar, Orks) in varying states of painting, and the desire to once again build a Space Marines army. They were my first, after all (Blood Angels, back in 1st Edition), but right now I'm drawn towards the Imperial Fists ...
That's about it. Hi again

The wolves go for the throat.
We go for the eyes.
Then the tongue.
Then the hands.
Then the feet
Then we skin the crippled remains. |
