Basically I wanted a Kill team with a lot of numbers and yet also something flashy! This worked perfectly, 29 infantry models and a flashy tank... also it suits a Grot Theme.

Thing is, I don't have experience with grots and don't know if this would be effective at all. Any comments or opinions and thoughts?

Thanks

Not an Ork player but this might just works as it drowns the enemy in numbers but still has something that can get it done.

This is creative! I'm a little bit stumped.

I had to look up the Grot Mega-Tank. As you already know, it's a little bit putting all your eggs in 1 basket. A Heavy Bolter Specialist with Haywire can glance it to death in 1 to 2 Turns...but if he can shoot at you, you can shoot him, and you'll probably win. It's a really tough call because of so much Dakka you have there.

And the Grots themselves are also a very interesting idea. A minor point - I'm afraid you may need a 2nd Runtherd to field that many. You can just spread them as 2 seperate Troop choices to keep costs low (like 2 squads each with a Runtherd with 13 Grots, etc.) Assuming you use cover and make a mad dash for the objective(s) in the final turns, you should do really well.

It's going to be pretty hard to force you into Break Tests, which of course would wipe out most of your Grots if it happens, but this is a very intriguing list. I ran something similar with about 18 Orks and 3 Warbuggies, which was very effective, but this may be even more so.

This may well be one of the Killer Kill Teams. I'm really interested how it does in the field, because I'm so stumped.
