After coming into a bunch of CSM and DV Bikers, I decided to build a Biker(mostly) army. This guy will be my Lord. The basic premise for the army is a bunch of CSM Bikers dedicated to returning The Doomrider to his "glory".



I've actually repainted the "Bike/Daemon" metallic purple, I'll post more pics after I highlight it a lil bit.

I will follow my better judgement and.. Well.. Not comment too much on that model itself. xD

That said, may I ask what you used as the.. Well I'm not much of a bike guy, I don't know what technical part of the bike that is. The steering column I guess?

NSW tag would be nice.

See, I like the execution (reminds me of a certain Lady GaGa album cover) but the paint job throws it off. I think the Daemon would be better as some kind of lewd sculpture on the front of the bike (so painted the same colours as the brass edging or something) as to me it looks like you've got a daemon precariously holding both halves of the bike together whilst being grinded by the CSM Lord.

You can still have the "grinding" thing as the pose won't change, but I think making it more blatantly part of the framework of the bike will make it look better IMO.

Yeah...I was getting that feeling too. I repainted the body this morning. ..I'll post pics later. Funny enough, the "grinding" aspect didn't occur to me til after I built it. I just wanted a true to form "Daemon" bike, lol.

That bike looks like that scene from Game of Thrones in which Khal Drogo and Danaerys were "together" the first time
Overall a nice idea but i fancy the first version more... that mix of flesh and metal looks more interesting imho.

Glad you guys like it. Drogo was a source of inspiration for the Lord (funny,I haven't watched Game of Thrones since his death, lol). But....I settled on this final scheme. It's subtler, but still Slaaneshii,I think.

It is a little less Slanesh-ish but the gold looks hella good.

I like the gold version. Looks more like an ornately sculpted (erotic) bike, and less like a demon/bike hybrid that you “ride” in pretty much every sense.

I know it’s the latest chaos craze, but I’m not a huge fan of the demon-hybrid biomechanical stuff.

Now I can move on to the rest the army. My other bikers are way less converted than the Lord. I'm thinking of doing the army as an Unbound All(well mostly, since I do like the Maulerfiend rules and have ordered a couple of the new Mortarchs to convert the mounts) Biker force, using a Bike squad with each Chaos Mark, ultimately lead by a Daemon Prince that'll represent Doomrider (designing him currently).

hahaha, that is awesome! I was going to say the same about the color, but you changed that. Looks much better as a color complimenting the color of the bike. I so thought you intended the 'grinding' thing, but really just a happy accident? Ha. Best CSM bike. Ever.

The gold looks wayyyyy better. Instead of some demon getting railed..it looks like the structure of the bike.. Much better execution. I just like how it takes the sexuality mostly out of the model and puts more emphasis on the lord.
