1. Who designed the original version (epic version) as a crossbreeding of British multiturret tank and Soviet KV series? (and gave it a profile that is meant to replace a generic Leman Russ)
2. Why does KV 2 is chosen as a stock model for conversion? why not T-35? and is it really customary? only few variants (Heavily ornated Vostroyan ones I think) use side sponsons like Leman Russ (instead of being multiturret) and serves an exact function of it. the vehicle however was built on Chimera/Basilisk hull.
the most common designs in 40k scales (I saw here in Dakka) are
2.1 Multiturretted KV1. the tank looks 'more modern' than original Leman Russ (but story wise. it is much less advanced than latter)

2.2 Rhombic Mark 1 with oversized turret and uses either side sponsons or miniturrets. basically it is Leman Russ with elongated hull and ridiculously oversized turret
Spoiler:
^ This is the original 40k design by Dave Taylor
3. Yet there's a Ragnarok that doesn't follow the two most common design
I don't know who designed it. but it is based on British Cruiser tank Mk1. it had eight roadwheels and appeared to use Carden Lloyd suspension designs. this one may even evolved from Vickers 6-ton tank too!. Turret is about the right size.. not too big, not too small. This one.. however, doesn't adhere to generic Leman Russ rules. as it has no bow mounted weapon.
What do you think about this 'Ragnarok Cruiser' design? and what is your most favorite design?
Buying a 1:48 KV tank and sticking skulls and/or aquillas on it. It works about as well as any conversion I've seen for the tank.
