Absolutely beautiful work, not sure where to start really!

The colour scheme is fantastic, I actually think works better than the official scheme. The red lines and contrasting blue complement each other very well.

Fantastic level of detail as well - I love the fibre/muscle style work on the Charontid, and the lighting effect with the green.

Great stuff - do you have any more of them planned?

AAaaand I'm back! I've been hard at work, plugging away at new Combined army units, and even some *gasp* ariadna painting!

I've ran quite a few test games with my new Ariadna (basically antipodes blaster attack force) and I've learned how very glass canon my poor neo-luddites are compared to the all encompassing majesty of the Combined army... whew tough army to get used to.

Anyhoo, here's what I've got done recently!

Anathematics, "Silent killer" EI platform





Daturazi for scale. The anathematic might as well be a TAG, he's so big! Looms over the Charontid even.



Shrouded Sniper! Bit of a conversion here, as I don't like the swivel waisted shrouded that CB does. Just nicked the gun from a re-purposed Malignos, and some wavy hair from a 40k dark eldar wych.




Ariadna WIP test scheme! I've used plasticard and a pile of bits to create mech bases, and I'm going for a snow theme! Think the final fortress from Inception.

Very nice units! I haven't touched the small CA force I have, been working on my Ariadnans.

I plan on getting the new CA box and starting with them. I love seeing all the interpretations in paint schemes for the CA.

Ski- agreed, suuuuper excited for the new EI stuff. My color schemes are based off the concept art they had for the new batroids, before the figs surfaced (leave it to Angel to make an impossibly impressive color scheme to imitate).

I recently went up to Edmonton for the 2015 Out of the Basement Tournament!

4 great games, and a lot of intense Charontid-pounding later, and I cleaned up for prizes!
