should I grab more oblis, or a baledrake with remaining points?

Hunting with the 13th

You seem to have a phalanx of AP3 to hopefully throw some dakka at SM builds, so my vote between your two options is for more Oblits. Giving them the mark of Tzeentch could give them a puncher's chance against Knight Titans or other big threats.

I could have sworn 10 cultist only cost 50 flash lights.

Can a squad of 1 asp sorc and 4 tsons generate 1 squad of demons? If msu tsons can increase warp charge and have chance to summon via malfeic primaris, then i would spam msu tsons foot slogging. And msu horrors.

Wait, summoned demons do not score...

You have plenty of WC to have flexibility in the Psychic Phase, but you lack bodies and target saturation. Half of your army will be gone by the end of Turn 2 easily and then you will be fighting an uphill battle.

A Heldrake would help handle any Flyers, though a Daemon Prince or Lord of Change (rather than one of the Sorcerers) would give you the same role without having an excessive amount of AP3 weapons that your Thousand Sons bring. Unless you are facing a heavy MEQ army, then enjoy the slaughter.

maybe. for competitive scenarios the oblits would have MoN but not here. well, not many armies have hard hitting alpha strikes. (I am bound to lose some horrors T1 if they shoot them, which they may not)

the reason I was looking at more oblits is, I have very little (bar ahriman or sorc getting Iron arm) to hurt vehicles.

Why not summon the horrors and Herald ? Lose the cultists in favour of oblits. Add a sorcerer lvl 2?
