I have been using a Leman Russ Demolisher in a close Infantry Support roll on a large foot Platoon including a 30-50 model Conscript Squad.
Basically it was armed with a Demolisher Cannon and Three Flamers.
With the change to the Leman Russ/Ordinance/Snap Fire Interaction has become unusable so I want to replace it. I know the Punisher is the best choice, but I want to use a cannon not the Gun from an A-10
I have narrowed my choices to:
>Eradicator Nova Cannon
>Executioner Plasma Cannon {Mostly because I live Plasma}
I already have a Vanquisher and an Exterminator as one of my HQ.

Well I was wanting to keep with the Heavy Flamers.

I am planning on adding an Executioner with Plasma Sponsons at some point.

Different tanks for different jobs. If your meta is MEQ heavy, take the executioner. If it's GEQ or Xenos heavy, eradicator.

They are my bulwark against the Terror. They are the Defenders of Humanity. They are my Space Marines, and they shall know no fear.

Heavy flamers are a bad idea. If you are close enough to use them, your tank is dead next turn.

Not sure that the flamers are ever good. Multimeltas, yes. Plasma, usually. Bolters, sometimes. Flamers? Never.

Tier 1 is the new Tactical.

Maybe I should clarify something that I should have put into the first post. This is part of a Fluffy Platoon.
When I do play competitive I don't bring this one out.

However I do appreciate all of the advice and you made up my mind on the Executioner I will defiantly but picking up a Executioner to use it when I do play competitive.

Actually I have found that triple heavy flamers aren't bad, especially on LRMBT and Demolishers. Since you will almost never hit anything with the secondary weapons anyway you don't really give up much. Then if they get too close, FLAME ON! You wouldn't believe the kind of hurt you can put out with 3 heavy flamers per tank when your enemy underestimates the power of fire. At worst you will never use them, oh well it is 10 points for them, at best you can kill a lot of hoard, or even MEQ just by volume of hits, with no risk of hitting your other units.

If I run LRMBT or Demolishers, they are sporting H. flamers.
