Hello everyone, I want to do Graffiti on my terrain and I was wondering if anyone had a good way to do that? I am not quite good enough with my airbrush yet.

The easiest thing for you do to would be to grab a few airbrush stencils for the graffiti.

TCP Global has a lot to choose from and you can even find some at the Hobby Lobby.

Some rub on tattoos are a good place to start.
You can seal them or leave them as is and then titivate them later..

I guess it is going to be more free form, I want it to look like the last scribbles of the populace, praying to the emperor for help.

Things of that nature, not something that would be a standard stencil.

Sounds like a good excuse for being bad at freehand, get daubing.

Sharpy?

Or various paint pens could do for smaller graffiti

Find a font or three that you like.

Type up what you want in word using the fonts you want.

Print on decal paper.*

Apply your new custom decals.

I have several sheets done up with generic graffiti as well as stuff which is specific to various games, settings and scenarios (zombies, aliens go home, send help, Eastside, Westside, Thiside, Thatside...).

Decal sheets are pretty cheap, and they work well enough for everything but white (white works as well...though not as easily...).

Stencils and markers work too, there are also preprinted graffiti font decal sheets you can buy...cut out the letters and put together words as you want.

*Following manufacturers directions for sealing as needed.

Make up some symbols swirl the font around it or create some sharp abrupt changes in line movement. Here is a trick...

Cut out a 2x2 or 4x4 inch square. Then on a very large sheet of paper get to doing different kinds of line movement, brush strokes, droplets, thicknesses, etc. Then take the square you cut out and use it like a camera by setting it over different parts of the line paper. Move it around until you find something you like the. Transfer it over.

Also consider small plasticard billboards.
You could magnetize them so that you could play on a clean setor change them for specific scenarios.
