Hey guys, I'm looking to convert the blood angels in the space hulk set into deathwing terminators.
I have deathwing shoulderpads from forgeworld as well as the regular gw line, and am wondering how you would suggest that I go about cutting away the existing ones.

Also, I was wondering if there is anything I should know regarding replacing the blood angels droplets of blood with forgeworld etched brass.

I'd probably be more inclined to sand/file the existing pads flat and then use an impression or something to mould the DA pads across. I can't see you attacking new pads at all TBH, you'd be better off replacing the arms as well and cutting them off at the shoulder.

Your best bet is probably just painting them DA colors. The iconography is similar enough.

I'd agree, just paint them da colors. Or if that bothers you, cut and sand off iconography and cover with other shoulder pads or da bits

It would destroy the model to swap the shoulder pads. As mentioned, sand the former iconography away. Have you ever made press molds? You could make some molds of the iconography on the DA shoulder pads out of GS and glue them in place on the BA Termies.
