Is there any real way to use some of these in - game? I mean I realize some replace existing models but, for example, Joe Scarface Turner how does he get used? Scarface has no escape/ejection system. Oh & where does one find the rules for the models that aren't just replacing existing ones?

There is always a chance the pilot survives when the tag is destroyed. Just use Scarface's pilot profile.

I was planning to use the Cutter bootleg torso I got for cheap when I get an actual Cutter... then I saw Angel Giraldez already did it.

There are rules for the Pilots, and profiles too, assuming they survive ejection. The Mag Guard and Lizard pilots can be readily used as ejected pilots, or proxied as anything else.

The Bootleg line has grown too. The O-12 Commissioner, the Cosplay Bolt, the Alternate Penthesilea are all bootlegs.

Pilots can dismount. Most don't have a fancy system to help them out with it though.

In Scarface's case, if he's entered his frenzied state, he will leap out of his disabled, immobile or unconscious TAG in order to personally lay the smack down.

No, but the short skills of "mount/dismount" will cover him leaving his TAG. ONLY the anaconda and Iguana have the ejection system. EVERY other piloted (IE the non GHOST operated TAGs) TAG would use the mount/dismount skills to get the pilot into/out of the TAG. Whether it's an O-Yoroi, Marghariba guard, Lizard, Szalamandra, the Y-J fatboy (guija) or scarface would make no real difference.

If Scarface Turner's TAG is reduced to 0 STR (good catch - posted this from phone), then Joe will HAVE to dismount and continue on foot (just because he's a hothead) and use the dismount skill to do so. Like MarcoSkoll said.

I think you mean STR there - reducing scarface's SWC to 0 sounds like many a QK player's pipe dream, but would seem quite unrelated
