I read a lot, play guitar and dabble with keyboard, listen to loads of music and write all kinds of fiction/poetry and the odd essay.

I suppose my other hobby is 'knowing stuff'. Rarely will I be content to just hear about something that interests me, I have to go and research it more.

PC Games >>> Anime > Tabletop > TV series > Books >>> movies are my nerd pastimes. Sci-fi and fantasy pervade them all extensively.

Interests in economics, politics, (lack of) religion and many other "important" topics also interest me for discussion and hopefully the education and improvement of society.

Noticing a few "guns" responses from our American friends. I have the interest in them (and all military hardware) but of course cannot participate as easily. I do have a nice compound bow that I enjoyed practising with for a while however!

Honestly right now my money goes into bills, with what little I have left going to cigars, so my hobbies are limited. If I had more space and money I would get into model railroading, and buy more expensive cigars.

Nothin' wrong with a bow. A bow is a man's weapon. Rambo used a bow. So did them Duke Boys.

As for my hobbies...

Tabletop RPGs, vidya games, internet pr0n, anime, sarcasm, watching British television shows on PBS, and writting (though I don't do as much of it as I would like).

Caledonian 95th (undergoing regimental reorganization)

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Excerpt from "Seeress of Kell", Book Five of The Malloreon series by David Eddings.

Reading, listening to music, working all the hours whatever deity is up there sends, watching pointless YouTube videos , walking the dog and searching for abandonware on the iMac.

Curiously I have had zero time for gaming over the past 4 months or so. But might be playing some Deadzone next week. This will all change when my wife and I finally buy our new house before Christmas. Then I get space and some extra time and cash to start my long overdue 2nd Ed Eldar army

Even better, the joke is so tired that attempting to seriously mock it for being tired is also tired.

Anyway, I had a CompuServe account in grade school and remember a time when a 28.8 modem and a house with more than 1 phone line were godsends. Count yourself lucky if Over 9000 is the oldest of your old man internet memories.

As to hobbies:

Hockey.
Videogames, particularly FPSs, RPGs, and fighters.
Various forms of training.
Various forms of extraneous academic reading.
Annoying my girlfriend.
Travelling.

There is always human steak. If fish can provide steak, then so can humans.

Shame I can't post this directly. NSFW, but only for limited profanity.

Life does not cease to be funny when people die any more than it ceases to be serious when people laugh.
