I am expanding my mono-khorne army, and it's going to get wild with some conversions and things, so I'm getting to a point where the squads in my army don't have the same unity they had before just from being the same shade of red. How do people base khorne marines/ daemons?

Skulls?

I'm not a huge fan of the "skulls everywhere" type of base. Unless we're fighting atop my hoard of skulls (which is a possibility!) I don't really see why there would be so many. Perhaps a daemon world littered with skulls and the rest of the skeleton.

So maybe the answer is lots of bones...

I also saw someone using toothpicks as sort of bloody spikes growing out of the ground on a daemon world. Looked pretty cool.

There's also a third party company that sells dismembered body parts. They look really good. I must track down the item...

I'm going with skulls. Maybe a few bodies who recently lost theirs as well?

Khorne is about beheading and dismemberment. He is the blood god. Blood is spilled in his name. Khorne Beserkerker take heads as trophies and adorne their vehicles/armor etc with them. Their are a ton of bases made with skulls etc. Very Khorinate. Spikes/chains etc all are part of chaos just think blood and dismemberment when you think of Khorne. There is a tutorial on khorne bases in the tutorial section.

I would go with Skulls and mebbe some more Skulls topped off with Skulls and shruken head skulls. He does like a few skulls does Khorne!

I mean his motto is....

Blood for the Blood God! Skulls for the Skull Throne!!

I don't think it's a coincidence that his emblem of chaos is a skull!
