So with Alien Isolation due out in a week on PS3 and PS4 simultaneously, I'm seriously considering it. The issue is I'm not sure to get it for PS3 or PS4.

Pros

I can get it on release and play immediately. No waiting.

Cons
Expensive release price
PS4 will be better

PS4

Pros
Far superior system.
Need to buy a PS4 anyway

Cons
More expensive
Need to buy/receive PS4 for Xmas
Might not get PS4 at all

What does everything think I should go for? Note that if I do get the PS4 I'd likely get The Last of Us Remastered alongside it, and I eventually need one anyway for Kingdom Hearts 3

Honestly, going PS3 might be better in your situation...especially since you don't have a PS4, and you might not get a PS4. And since it'll be released on multiple consoles like that, I doubt it'll be much "better" on PS4.

Chrimbo isn't a long ways away dude, just wait until then. By then if there are any bugs in the game they should be patched and your gaming experience should be top notch either way

I preordered for my 360. Figured it'll be a while before I get a PS4 and I want it NAO!

Fully agree. I should think the quality on PS4 will be worth it.

Sure, go for the PS4, I like to play my game beautifully. But if you are really that excited, i'd wait just one day after its release and wait for the public to say if its a mess or not, get PS3

because of, you know....Last time, minus Gearbox.

Good point. Having said that it didn't stop me getting that one. 90% off and I couldn't say no. 7 minutes and 12 seconds into it I realised WHY it was 90% off and why I should have said no.
