Despite not having any Yu Jing models (Will very likely pick up JSA at some point in the distance future primarily to play Yojimbo and Mushashi) I am planning on making a Yu Jing themed table. This is due to my drive to use terrain and models across as many games and genres as I can. Already having some Samurai style terrain I figure I could use the Samurai houses in the centre of the terrain as a historical/museum park of some description with more futuristic buildings around the outside.

What would you recommend to go with it as the more futuristic stuff? The lower cost the better. Not buying anything atm but want to plan for when I do end up picking up more terrain.

A Torii arch or two wouldn't go astray.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

How 'Asian' do you want to go?

IMO, a Yu Jing city would look just as mass produced and standardised as anything else in Infinity, with little flourishes of Asian stylings here and there.

The majority of it would be fine Generic but it would be cool if there was anything that kind of channelled the look and feel of Hong Kong in movies with the neon size and the busyness but still look futuristic.

Customeeple have some Yu Jing style buildings. They're basically boxes with the Asian style neon signs etc. maybe check them out.

One of the other mdf companies have a cool noodle shop i think. Warmill I think.

That's all I got

Asian residential buildings that aren't flats tend to me less mass produced and standardised from what I've seen. Semi-detached and terrace houses are rare if not non-existent.

Shark Mounted Lasers previewed some Yu Jing buildings some time ago, 3 storey Blade Runner style terraces, iirc. Not for sale as yet I don't think.

Warsenal do the Torii arch, just in case you didn't know, I have the same sort of plan for my garden / park area in the long term

And the forthcoming CNC Workshop city would look completely awesome as YJ, PanO or just about anything.
