Formation:
Grotesquerie
Urien Rakarth (warlord)
2x3 Grotesques (with rolls on table of awesomeness)
2 Raiders with night shields

Formation:
Scalpel Squadron
2x5 Wracks, each with Ossefactor
2 Venom transports, 2 cannons

Detachment: Real Space Raiders
Haemonculi, parasite kiss (had 5 pts left)
5 Mandrakes
3 Grotesques
Raider w/ night shields
2x5 Warriors (troop tax)
3x6 Reavers, each with 2 caltrops
3x12 beast packs (10 khymera and 2 beast masters)

Urien joins the Real Space Grotesques, to give them fearless.
Real space Haemonculi joins one of the Grotesquerie units to give those grotesques fearless.
Urien tries and stays center mass around reavers to bubble the pain, giving the packs and reavers FnP 6+ on turn 1, and 5+ on turn 2.
Mandrakes act an annoyance.
Scalpel Squadron looks for anything that might give up first blood and deep strikes in on it.
Turn 1, everyone jinks and runs at the enemy, Scalpels go for 1st blood.
Turn 2, survivors assault, army wide, everyone is feel no pain 5+, and the formations are fear and fearless.
Zero ability to kill AV14 (outside of stupid luck with Reavers, every 9th caltrop is a hull point), no way to kill flyers, so will ignore them.

Any chance it will work?

I would cut the beast packs for haywire scourges. Give you some land raider options.

Cool list, looks like fun and super aggressive! I too would be worried about heavy armor, or even AV13. For instance, how would you take down a Knight? It's sad, but these are the things we need to plan for, at least in a competitive setting.

60 points for heat lances in the reavers squad would be well spent.
The reavers have hit and run, they should get to use the lances as long as they are alive.

I would drop the scalpel squad and the RSR Grotesques for another Grotesquerie. Grotesques are just so much better than Warcks in everyway. Personally I like to add an Aberration with Scissorhand for Rending just to help against Walkers and 2+ armour.

I would drop the Beastpacks. Grotesques are your AI assault you need a way to deal with Vehicles. Scourges woukd fit the bill and maybe a Razorwing or two to add AA and support AT.

Plain Wracks are lame, but how he has them kitted in a Venom with an Ossefactor, is a nice build. They will be great little First Blood thieves with that fleshbane AP2 gun.

That fleshbane Ap2 gun still only does 1 wound plus effectively d6 poison hits. Against an all mech list he can't get FB with the formation and has to deepstrike them in which is always a risk. You just get so much more from Grotesques.

Actually, if anything else in the army pops a transport, then the wracks finish him.

What's I'm working on now is keeping the Scalpel and Grotesquerie, and squeeze in 6 units of 6 reavers (8 blasters, 4 heatlances, all with caltrops).
Leaves me 224 points for 2 troops and a HQ.
Given that I'm taking the scalpel, Grotesquerie and 6 units of reavers, what would you round at the list with?
I'm thinking 2x5 warriors, 2x raiders with lances, and adding lances to the grotesques raiders. Leaves 14 points, which would be a Lhamaia.

You need to throw in Animus just you know in case you supposedly get it and give your vehicles the chain snares to tank shock things at -1 LD.

If I lose it is because I had bad luck, if you win it is because you cheated.

Once you pop a transport that's FB Wracks then can't get it. 224 for HQ and 2 troops? Easy:

Lahmian 10
5 Warriors: Venom 2 x SC 105
5 Warriors: Venom 2 x SC 105

Still leaves you 4 points to blow on whatever you want.

You'd go with 2 more venoms over 4 more dark lances on the transports?
Sadly, can't spend 4 points. Everything is at least 5.

Throwing in the Animus is 80 points minimum, for at best about a 60% chance vs T3, 44% chance vs T4. 1 shot at BS7 (hits on a 2+, 1's re-roll and hit on 5+), and S4 means 3+ to wound vs T3. To me, the Animus looks like sucker bet. If the opponent is in cover, you're looking at a 40% chance, as low as 20% to kill a T4 model in 4+ cover.

Chain Snares look good on paper, but taking them would leave me with 204 points for an HQ and 2 troops.

It is a cool list, though I think it will not handle tanks or Super heavies well at all. If this is not your meta, then you are good. I also think having more Dakka and DLs would be good or even haywire. Cool list, but I do not think it will be very competitive. Good luck and cheers man.

No I'd go with your Raider Lance build. I assumed you'd have lances on the Grots Raiders anyway.
