A WIP of my Stormboyz Nob. I wanted the model to obviously be a Nob. The Storm boys plastic is very nice, but they are all the same size. So I made my own. It still needs some Stick bombs, cables, banner pole, and obviously a base. The back and legs are from the Boys Mob Nob. The torso front is from the Stormboyz sprue. The arms and head is from the Nobz sprue. Using 1 of the 6 SB torsos with a Nob body allows me to make the model larger, and I still have enough parts for 5 Stormboyz.

The legs were cut in the middile of the foot, re-possitioned, using sprue and glue as filler. And at the top of the boots, so I could rotate the foot. The second model is a Sagstruk I'm building, see more below.


I wanted a largerJump Pack for my Nob. And took my cue from the Rocketeer. It's made from two ceramic insulators plus various electronic parts, and hardware added. The dots are 1mm fingernail decorations.

I don't own a Sugstruk model, but I wanted one. Even if he's a bit underwhelming for a character in the 7thEd Codex.It's hard to find a non Finecast model for less then $30. So I decided to make my own.


The upper body is a Nob back combined with a Stormboy front. With inserts at the shoulder joints and Epoxy putty sculpt to make it wider. The cap and lower body are sculpted. The arms are pined for now. The Sword arm is from a fantasy Boar rider Champion. I plan to replace the sword.


The claws are reworked Nob power claws. The Nob legs were cut through their length, and a 1mm sheet plastic inserted to make them thicker. Plastic Nob slugga arm, needs a bayonet.


The Rokkit is a 16mm roller from on old printer combined with plastic SB parts. And a custom nozzle.


It's a WIP, but I'm having fun

Looks really neat, but you might need to do some greenstuff work on the sword arm, it looks kind of funny. If you look at the finecast model, he's got pecs or whatever muscles showing under his arm.
