Would it be lore friendly or at least plausible to have an orcs & goblins horde that has been majorly influence by one of the dark gods of chaos? In example, would you ever think Tzeentch would approach a orc shaman/warboss in the form of gork/mork? Bestow upon them some chaotic intelligence and (Tzeentch) wield the horde as a personal weapon of destruction? Tzeentch is the lord of change & manipulation, the apocalypse offers tons of opportunity for new beginnings and change . Or does anyone believe gork and mork wouldn't have nothin to do with that funny stuff and smash Tzeentch up right good.

I guess this comes down to, do Mork & Gork exist? I know the army book makes mention of them, but what they describe almost fits the "warp". I don't know the correct term here as I have only previously played 40k. I know there are plenty of "dieties" in this this realm, Tzeentch being one of the powerful ones, so could Gork and Mork be deities here too? Or is it more likely that Gork & Mork have always been one of the four chaos gods behind a guise? I'll take anyone's thoughts.

It is absolutely lore friendly for a greenskin horde to be influenced by chaos. For Tzeentch it would be super easy to pretend to be Gork (or possibly Mork) to further some scheme, but they would not use his magic lore but would still use the lores of the Waaagh. It is also easy for Khrone to gain control of some, it would not be through a shaman but if some got far enough north it could impress him enough to bless them. For Nurgle if they got really sick Nurgle could gain control of them, but I see the least likely to be Slaanesh as the two really don't mesh.

The way gods are depicted in fantasy is a little different then in 40k. The biggest is the fact that in fantasy they have little to no physical presence. In 40k there is a god sitting on a big chair on earth, each craftworld has shards of Khaine on them and the C'tan are physically present. In fantasy the most physical gods would be Orion and Ariel and even then they are more avatars then gods. The gods here are more through agents like priests and shamans so it has lead to the belief that in fantasy the various gods are different aspects of the chaos gods but I don't. In fantasy they don't have the warp but the realm of chaos. Though magic comes from chaos the realm of chaos is less directly affected by the mind so other gods are less likely to originate from there. So in my opinion Gork and Mork do exist just like Ulric, Khaine, and Morr but are less powerful them the chaos gods but can effect the mortal world more directly.

Thanks for the input and explanation. It almost sounds like Gork & Mork wouldn't have a say in this case. You don't believe they would abandon this orc tribe for being deceived by Tzeentch? I thought it would be interesting to have chaotic tattoos on savage orcs in this tribe, when you said that this contact wouldn't be through the shaman, did you mean only for khorne?

It is unlikely hat Gork or Mork could stop Tzeentch from taking control of an orc tribe if he really wanted to. It is also unlikely for them to fully abandon them as Gork and Mork would likely forget as soon the tribe started Waaaghing at the nearest enemy. Chaotic tattoos on savage orcs does sound really cool and yes I did just mean for Khrone as in fantasy he hates magic just like he hates psykers and for orcs the magic users are the shamans.
