Mission: Purge the alien
Deployment: Hammer and Anvil

So deployment: Dark Angel deployed first but he gave me first turn. He probably thought ill just push forward as i usually do, but i decided to take this game conscientiously. Our last game we rolled also purge the alien and i knew every point here counts

Turn 1: Crimson slaughter
So in first turn i just moved my hellbrutes and squad of melee marines with warlord forward through the middle of the table and i unleashed my forgefiend. My opponent underestimated his firepower, probably because last game it took him 2 turn to take 1 hull point from his dreadnought and so he left him out in the open. 5hits 4 went through. He managed to save one thanks to nightfighting but anyway first 2 points for me Not much more happened here...

Turn 1: Dark Angles
My friend deepstriked his termies pretty much right in front of my army. He infiltrated his bikes so he wouldnt scater but anyway, this was biggest mistake on his part. Right in shooting phase he realized that it probably wasnt the best idea. He considered running them so he could spread out to avoid damage from my ectoplasma canon but he decided to risk it shoot into my 10 marines. He managed to take almost whole squad and strip some hullpoints from one of my brutes . But that was pretty much it.

Turn 2: Crimson slaughter
I shot everything i could into the pile of termies. Forgefiend himself managed to take out 3 or 4 thanks to only 1 inch scatter of its canon and follow up of rest of his weapons. Then i shot my brutes and marines into them and result was 1 terminator still standing.

Turn 2: Dark Angles
He shot some more into the unit of marines and warlord and then charged the rest with that damn one termie a managed to finish of marines and take 1 wound of my lord - one point for him. Then he took 1 of my brutes to 1 hullpoint.

Turn 3: Crimson slaughter
I shot all i could into the bikes but 1 managed to survive. I had to charge that one termi with brute just to make sure i will take him down and dont lose my warlord to him but luckily warlord managed to hit all his hits and some wounds and my opponent got that one "one" in there. So another point for me

Turn 3: Dark Angles
He finished off my hellbrute and advanced into the right side of the table while shooting at unit of my cultists hiding in ruins in right corner.

Turn 4: Crimson slaughter
At this point i realized this game is not won yet and not by a long shot. I backed with my warlord and then tried to finish his last bike but not luck there and with rest i tried to take down some of his marines but again not much luck. And moved my shooty crew of marines because at this point i couldnt just let them kemp the ruins.

Turn 4: Dark Angles
He backed with his bike out of my range and sight. Almost finished rest of my cultists .

Turn 5: Crimson slaughter
Rest of my cultists failed their morale check and therefore they were good as dead at this point. I realized if the game ends at this point it will be draw as there were no easy target to kill in this turn. I tried shooting all i could into the group of marines with librarian, but not much luck.

Turn 5: Dark Angles
My opponent finished cultists just to make sure they wont regroup.. there were still 3 of them left so it could happened And shot into my marines but no big deal.

Turn 6: Crimson slaughter
Luckily for me game continued. I could finish rest of the marines to take the lead.

Turn 6: Dark Angles
He hided his Librarian behind the building and then he shot all he could into my helbrute and almost managed to kill him.

Game ended after this turn so i managed to win the game 4:3. Then we both realized that my friend was trying so hard to hide his Librarian out of my line of sight that he forgot about the linebreaker. On our game mat is actually very easy to see deployment zones and he was standing like 0,5cm from my deployment zone So in the end he actually could score 2 points in the last turn if he had more luck shooting on my brute.
