I just played a game where I had my TWC charge a Land Raider. Now I had two guys left, one with WC and SS the other PF and SS. Now I thought the WC with the Rending would pop the Land Raider with a roll of a 6, even with a reroll(the Land Raider did not move) but missed althogher, and than the PF busted it up.
My question is... can Rending destroy a Land Raider? I'm no sure, and I looked it up, but I can't get a straight answer for myself. So, what do you guys think?

Rendering is just a Special Rule, it is entirely dependant on the Strength of the Weapon it is attached to.
With good Rolls and a 1 Hull Point Land Raider, and basic mathematics not failing me, it is possible to destroy a Land Raider with a Strength 5 Rendering Weapon.

Str 5 + 6 (rending) + 5/6 from the D3 = 14. It can glance on double 6's and destroy a LR.
In 7th, rending doesn't get the AP2 vs. vehicles however.. not that that matters, since it cannot pen the LR.

Well a TWC with a Wolf Claw is S6/7 (depending on FC) so can certainly penetrate a Landraider. I'm not really sure what the actual question is though and I'm wondering why you got any rerolls on the Wolfclaw?
Are you really just asking if 6+6+3>=14?

It can, if the model has enough Strength to begin with. Every six on the armor penetration roll gives you an extra d3 added to the total, so even a S5 model (5+6+d3) can get a glancing hit and score a hull point.

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look.
