what happens if a stone thrower scatters its template into a combat? couldnt find anything in brb or faq.

You follow the normal rules for firing a stone thrower. Remember that you can't aim into a close combat but that does not prevent it from scattering into one.
For example say a stone thrower scatters into a close combat, the rules state that any model under the template is hit so say in this example one enemy model is under the center hole, 13 enemy models are under the template and 8 friendly models are hit. In this case you each and every model would be hit automatically at strength 3 (or 9) and you would roll for toughness for each, though I would keep the rolls for your guys separate to avoid confusion.

Thanks where in the brb or FAQ is this mentioned? All I could find was that it "may hit friendly models wich we will find out later" but i couldn't locate any further mention
