Top right corner - Even Endermen have a childish sense of humour.

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

Seriously? What a piece of childish humor. That's to kiddy, even for Dakka.

All I do in Minecraft now is use TNT and buckets of lava to turn innocent landscapes into my own personal Mordors.

There are some who walk until their legs fail them and they fall to the ground. I find that respectable.
Then there are those who drag themselves further. I find that admirable.

Endermen aren't supposed to be able to move placed blocks.

Uh oh. They've evolved...

I've had randomly placed cobble around the place, with chunks out of cobble walls so maybe they can.

Huh, endermen probably placed those random leaf blocks I was seeing too...

Just died and the lag from the exp dropped is going to prevent me entirely from retrieving my inventory...
Even the melons I was going to bring for new Dakkatown.

Though I can get back everything that was in it eventually, if you feel like it, Dark, would it be possible to get the stack of arrows, bow and diamond pick back?

Did you at least try to get your stuff back?

Yes I attempted and would have drowned if not for a skeleton which shot me.

Trying again right now though, won't need it unless I really can't get it back.

Edit: managed to get all the exp by diving a lot, got inventory back.

Build spawners with floors only two high to stop endermen.

Heh, what would we do without you? I was thinking along the lines of water coated walls etc. :-)

Died again before (not long after I got the stuff from before ), but managed to get back the inventory and drop it in a chest. Only problem now is the amount of exp dropped slows the game down to the point it just dies. D:

Was on my way to lava without items so as to destroy exp as reading around it seems that lava baths should be regular to stop exp from building up and leading to crashes upon death...

Well, it seems my work laptop cannot handle it. When I get near that chunk everything just slows to a complete stop and I can't move at all. Hopefully my home computer will be able to handle the load to allow me to at least very slowly make my way in there. How much experience did you drop?? Was it like the image here?:

Note, the server still chugs along fine when this happens, it's just the client that slows to a crawl

Something like that though not as bad, maybe about half. That was also the thread I was reading trying to find a way to fix it; was hoping they'd despawn after a while.

Yeah they don't despawn, very annoying epsecially when they cause this much trouble and aren't even used for anything! At least it only affects clients in that chunk's vicinity and doesn't trouble the server very much.

Do you have the exact coords of where you died so I don't have to search too much? I just have a rough area of where you died.

I'm not sure, up on a small hill next to the well of three features (LoZ reference well ).

But, it seems there's a little time before the exp loads and the lag kicks up so I can probably get more exact co-ords if I reconnect when it dies since it thankfully doesn't effect the rest of the server.

Edit: Minecraft.net may be down...

Co-ords are
X:2792
Y:71
Z:-2790

have an unpowered rail on a downward slope, pointing where you wanna go. Mount a button on top, so it's still, you get in, hit the button, and you go.

Don't get what you mean Shrike. On top of what? Can't place buttons on a track. Have any pictures of Dreadnote's system?

Buttons can direct their power one block under them so by placing it on a wall next to the rail it will power it.

Here's an ascii depiction if it helps at all:

Whenever I have tried to log on it is, though the connections are fine.

Strangely it seems the clients are all laggy rather than the server.

It's the dropped experience orbs (and them not de-spawning) bug. I'm looking into it...

New Dakka Town is going great.
The fog horn is about 1/2 the way down the coast.
The HQ building is coming along well.
The underwater viewing area is built.
The Lighthouse is done.
Lots of people are starting up houses there.

and yet no-one thought to light up the surrounding area, or even the dock itself.
I can't do anything about it because I'm 1000 blocks away down an abandoned mine, so can someone else take the liberty?

And can some other people take the liberty of not repiping the toilet drain into my bedroom, repairing any creeper explosions that expose the roof and right wall of my underground home to the outside world, not rip up the bed which several people were using to spawn from, not steal my iron helmet and boots, and not steal my chestplate and trousers, wear them down to red durability bar and replace them as if I won't notice.
