So I'm putting my IG army together here, which isn't easy, given my obsession to convert every miniature I own. It's all unpainted, but might be worth a look. So here we go:

CCS:

Lieutenant and sergeants:

Privates:

Special weapons:

HWTs with autocannons:

Elysian veterans

Vendetta:

Leman Russ:

More photos and other stuff are in my blog - the link is in my signature. Any comments, criticisms and all that other stuff is welcome. =)

UPD1 - Some vehicles:

Wyverns

These can be also assembles as Hydras

Or as a Manticore

Destroyer/Thundrer. The main gun is magnetised.

And most of the army on one table

UPD 2 - More reinforcements incoming:

TERCOS veterans

Chimera for the command squad

And a vehicle that will require some homerules to field on the gaming table - a Medevac Centaur.
I've got some written along with a poll on their adequacy, so if you'd like to help, just follow the link

Glad you like it, guys =)

The Russ is my version of the Conqueror turret that I've scratchbuilt. I've actually have nearly all weapon options built and magnetised as you can see here.

Holy Sh*t!! These are flippin' fantastic! I'm guessing that the ones in coats were Steel Legion minis? Great use of bits and superb sculpting. I will def be watching your blog!

Update: Been looking around your blog. You certainly have 'the touch'. Your terrain is impressive. Your models are impressive. Good work!

What is best in life? To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women. Grrr.

Most of the guys are indeed based on the Armageddon minis, although I've made them to represent my custom homeworld guard and stuff.
The army isn't assembled yet - more stuff coming in the future so stay tuned =)

Right, I didn't think they were Armageddon dudes, just wondering if you used them as a base. I liked the Steel Legion, but they are certainly dated now. Your custom Guard look awesome. And you've add so much character to the minis (high fiving, cig smoking, etc). How big are you planning this army to be?

Well I have too many ideas for to many armies, so I won't be turning my guard to Apocalypse force.
I currently have a 1000pts roster which will be assembled once I put my tanks together (expect more conversions), then I'll probably reinforce it with some Catachan guys and girls (sic!) so It'll be around 1500 pts when I'm done.
I'll also be converting some non-IG stuff as well, so it'll take time I guess. Anyways, I'll be slowly putting it all on the blog if you're interested.

Those are based on some toy car's wheels, although that was an unnecessary shortcut really

So I've converted some more stuff. This time it's a bunch of tanks - more shots are in the blog as usual. Here we go:

Wyverns

These can be also assembles as Hydras

Or as a Manticore

Destroyer/Thundrer. The main gun is magnetised.

And most of the army on one table

So what do you guys think?

Outstanding conversion work. Not many people are brave enough to convert an entire IG army, but so far, you've shown some amazing dedication. That Destroyer conversion is particularly impressive. Now, the question is: can you paint?

Well, there is only one way to find out, right?

Glad you like it, gentlemen.
