If i take daemons as my primary detachment can i then take both csm and daemons as allies? Or can i not allie with daemons only multiple primary detachments?

You may take any number of Detachments and have a Battle-Forged Army.

To use your question as an example: The Primary Detachment's Faction is 'Chaos Daemons' but that doesn't prevent us taking other Detachments and filling them with additional Chaos Daemon Units. One would be forbidden to use an Allied Detachment for this purpose, due to an internal Restriction on having the same Faction as the Primary, but there is a great number of other Detachment types which are still available. The only concern is ensuring that the Restriction for that secondary Detachment are met, and most of them are simply 'all Units within must be from the same Faction' so they are not difficult to achieve.

You won't be able t get Daemons in an Allied Detachment, but you can tke another CAD of Daemons.
In this situation, CSM is another faction and has no bearing on what kind of Detachment you can take
