Superheavy Tank
Equipment of Command

General Vancer Redt, Supreme Commander of the Ilithus Worlds Crusade, bellows his orders from the safety of the Baneblade "The Lady of the Void". This tank was requisitioned from the Cadian 4901st Superheavy Division early on in the Crusade and has since been extensively modified with advanced communications equipment. The equipment has high power requirements and, since the Baneblade was never intended to serve such equipment, it is necessary to divert power from the tank's weapon systems. However, despite the loss in firepower, the Lady has been instrumental in the Crusade. Entire batteries of Basilisks can fire onto a single target with pin-point accuracy, entrenched enemies suddenly find their cover to be useless and the General's Iron Will can be enforced on any squad with the proper equipment. Ork Warboss Bakkbreaka has nicknamed the tank "Da Bosswagon" and covets it for himself.

Equipment of Command:

Before your movement phase you must select one action to perform with the Command Baneblade. The effects of the action are immediate and last until your next movement phase. Note that if any of these actions besides "Power to all weapons!" is taken then all weapons besides the Primary weapon and the coaxial Autocannom must fire snap shots.

Enhanced Vox Network
All Squads equipped with a Vox caster may be issued orders even if they are out of range and line of sight. Note that you still may only issue up to three orders. When testing for orders the squad being issued orders to must use it's unmodified leadership.

Advanced Augur Sensors

Select one enemy unit on the battlefield. All shooting attacks made against it have the Ignores Cover USR.

Ordnance Targetting Matrix

Select one enemy unit on the battlefield. All attacks made against it with the Barrage USR only scatter 1D6".

Very Loud Speakers

The General's words of command are difficult to ignore or misinterpret with these speakers. All units within 12" uses the Command Baneblade's Leadership when making order tests.

Power to all Weapons!
The guns of the Baneblade have been brought to bear! The Command Baneblade may fire and act as normal.
Senior Officer:
For the purposes of determining which orders may be issued use the orders chart for the Company Command Squad. The Command Baneblade may issue orders up to 12" from the Hull and may issue up to three orders.

The Command Baneblade's Warlord Trait is considered to be the Senior Officer special rule. If an effect states that you must nullify the Command Baneblade's Warlord Trait then you may not issue orders until the next game turn after the effect came into play.

Too good for the point cost. FW's character Baneblade costs the same for BS 4 and twin-linking one gun each turn, a much less powerful bonus than what you've got. Giving orders as a CCS would be reasonable for that price, but the special abilities are incredibly powerful and all you really give up to use them is a demolisher shot that probably isn't even in range (your other guns are irrelevant). I would either drop the special orders entirely and just make it a BS 4 Baneblade with the CCS rule, or make the price of using the orders be giving up all shooting, including the main gun.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

Very cool idea but echoing what Peregrine said it's very undercosted.

I would change the unlimited range orders to 18" or 24" at most
I would also consider removing one or more weapons from the tank to account for the extra equipment aboard, and to balance the points a little.

Hmm. This is true. This tank buffs gunline armies to a great degree. So, how about it is instead 750 points, has to forgo shooting entirely to commit to it's actions and that orders issued to units at a certain distances take penalties to their leadership for the enhanced vox relay?

Something like...

0-12" Maximum Leadership
<12-24" Unmodified Leadership
<24-36" Unmodified Leadership -1 Penalty
<36" Unmodified Leadership -2 Penalty
