Whereas my work day is just coming to an end. And I know exactly what I'm going to be doing! Cheers for this, I can feel the sticky carpet of my old local arcade underfoot even as I type...

Can't get sound or gamepad to work, even with the refresh thing.

My post about this on the Video Games forum days ago goes into the controls and issues a bit more.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

I've played old arcade games on PC, but there are some games in there that I haven't seen in a long, long time...stuff like Starfire, Bosconian, Venture, Vanguard and Pleiades.

Oooo...Satan's Hollow, that's a classic. Discs of Tron is nice too, although I bet those controls are wonky since IIRC it had a joystick and a dial that would also move up and down. Don't think there's a good keyboard solution for that one. And they have Gyruss? Oh boy. I used to be able to play that for a long, long time on a quarter.
