nice list.

The only question i have, which may sway whether i take one instead of an exalted hero, is can a wargor take gnarled hide if he has a magic banner?

I wasn't sure in case gifts count as magic items, which he cannot take if he has a magic banner.

Yes. It's why the standard build works.

Ok, so he is rocking a 2+ armours save.

not bad. not quite exalted hero standard but the banner is a nice boost.

Yea it's in the Beastmen FAQ mixer if anyone ever calls you out on it.

The problem with the wargor bsb with the beast banner is, it isnt a legal build for legions of chaos. In the beastmen book on page 92 the first sentance is "on the following pages are the magic items available to BEASTMEN armies"

Beastmen as part of legions of chaos armies are not able to bring those items, its not a beastmen army. The common magic items may be taken but are taken at the points values written in the brb not the beastmen book.

So basically the only thing beastmen can take out of the beastmen book are the gifts of chaos.

Yes they can. Stop with the nonsense. No where in Goatskin does it say "Legions of Chaos can only take stuff from the BRB". They can take all options normally available to them.

The army books clearly state they belong to a specific army none of them are chaos legions. Its in plain English
