HobbyVR is still very early in development, but has a lot of promise, allowing people to scan in their own models and play Wargames over the internet on a VR table.

I know some people can't play against each other locally, or want to practice and have to use VASSAL or MapTools, which are still poor substitutes for a 3D table. This also allows people who have an awesome model collection to show them off to people who they can't meet in person.

Currently the project requires an Oculus Rift and a Razer Hydra and the developer is looking for testers.

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself here. I'm the main developer for HobbyVR. I've been plugging away at the Alpha and just posted a video update:

If anyone would like to join as a tester then just send me a line here or on the HobbyVR website.

Testing currently requires an Oculus Rift but regular PC support is going to be implemented shortly.
