Really, I'm looking specifically for 3rd edition Daemonettes because the current ones look gak as hell imo, just not what I'd like in my Slaaneshi army.
Anyone know where I can get some of these 3rd edition models?

My good sir, there's literally like, nothing that resembles a Daemonette in the Bretonnia models. I'm looking for the Daemonettes aswell, for use in 40k.

I hate myself for even suggesting it.

Ebay is your best bet. I'm eyeing many 3rd Edition models that I never picked up on my first run of 40K. Specificially, check the seller Lazarus-games, I have good luck finding older stuff from him.

Don't blame me if you get hooked on classic figure hunting and never buy new GW again!

I buy old models when at a tourney/convention and there's a 2nd hand stall or "bring and buy" where the gamers at that event will offload stuff they no longer need or want.
That and Buy/swap/sell threads on FB and Wargamerau (I don't use ebay and don't have any use for paypal).
My WHFB HE army was stated with Mantic stuff, but several friends also gave me a bunch of 6th ed models to add to it so I look for that vintage stuff when I want to replace units. In the last year, I've added swordmasters, white lions, a tiranoc chariot and bolt throwers (all 6th ed and all metals) for less than half of what the more modern plastics would cost me.
The army isn't going to be finished in a week or a month, and I don't mind using the mantic spearmen or archers in the meantime (the bases are right and the weapons are right. Nobody has seen fit to supply me with a REAL elf (not a figure, a REAL one) so I can compare scale accuracy, though.

Daggy, just in case you aren't aware, those 3rd edition daemonettes are quite pricey. 7 or 8 dollars a pop I believe. So buying any decent sized force of them is going to get real pricey, real quick.

This. Unfortunately, you arent the first person to want the old daemonettes over the new (awful) ones.

If you're after alternatives though, you could try raging heroes' preying mantis.

They work, although I added a little to mine to make them fit in with other daemonettes more.
Also though not legal, I'm pretty sure some recasters would be making them somewhere. Though you'd have to find them yourself basically.

I only need one squad of them, I'm mixing them with the Keeper of Secrets from Forgeworld (Using GW's rules) and Chaos Space Marines Automatically Appended Next Post: Oh god guys, I think I might have struck some fething gold here!
I won't say where, but I've just found $55 squad of 3rd Edition Daemonettes. It looks like 3 are Metal, 7 are plastic or resin, judging from the pictures.

If they look plastic/resin, be careful. IIRC they were only in metal originally, so those may be re-casts. Or just primered rather then bare metal. But when something looks to good to be true, stay alert! If they are re-casts, they quality might be significantly lower, a scam, or something else.
