The place over there.

i wanted to see people's opinions on the telltale walking dead and wolf among us. Also, is it possible to copy or move saves for those games from xbox 360 to xbox one? Ive started both games on the 360, but now that theyre on the new consoles i was wondering if there was a way to continue them on the newer consoles without restarting. (Id rather not restart and dont want to rebuy them on the new consoles if i have to)

I loved the Wolf Among Us, it was well done, though some of the episodes did feel a bit too much on the short side. Can't wait to see what they'll do with the franchise next.

As for the Walking Dead, I played through the first one, many sads to be had, it was a good, if painful at times run. I played through the first two episodes of the second one and decided to drop it, I didn't like where it was going, plus I really want to play games for fun, not be forced to make miserable choices and be forced to see just how horrible a person I am for it.

I'd never heard of The Wolf Among Us before I picked it up while browsing Tesco and thought I'd give it a bash and I'm glad to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. A bit on the short side, but really liked the story as a whole, that kept you guessing all the time and the dark fairy tale characters. All in all, I thought it very well executed.

Also, never played The Walking Dead, so have no input on it.

My first thread: all advice and criticisms are welcome

These are two of my favourite games.

The Wolf Among Us is fantastic and really a unique game, although admittedly one or two of the episodes do feel a little short but I cannot reccomend it enough.

The Walking Dead (1 + 2) are some of the most engrossing and enjoyable games I've ever played, and definetly the best of it's genre/style.

I'm not sure on choices and loading from previous consoles however as I played these on PC. I'd imagine there must be some way or at least something you can do to at least simulate the choices without replaying.

Bloody brilliant. TWD Season 2 even surpasses certain episodes and story lines of the tv show.

I'm looking forward to the Telltale Game of Thrones

Hmmm well. On a gameplay side, it doesn't really have much very little control over characters, and funky gameplay mechanics.

Story-wise. They are great. They have great characterization.

They build on characters, they mature them, or digress them. They make them almost human, and they don't care who the character is.

But oh well.

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. There's a bit early in The Walking Dead Season 1 that soured me on Telltale Games forever: you have to choose
Spoiler:
which of two people you will save. It doesn't matter which you choose, they are both going to be killed a few episodes on, and there's nothing you can do about it.

That's *not* the case in 'The Wolf Among Us'. There are multiple event points where you can choose whether someone lives or dies. And if they live, they show up in later episodes.

Ehm, welcome to the world of The Walking Dead? That's... par for the course.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

It's more than likely the same sort of thing that you're going to see a lot of in Telltale's new "Game of Thrones" game.

Of course, if you're at all familiar with the books or TV series, then you probably figure that out when you're informed that the opening prologue for the game is taking place during the
Spoiler:
Red Wedding.

I loved The Wolf Among Us, and the first season of The Walking Dead, played the first episode of the second season but
Spoiler:
Clem really isn't as strong a protagonist as Lee was and the story didn't seem as good

Spoiler:
It definitely does, I played through the first 50 minutes of the first episode and it starts at the Red Wedding, gak ensues obviously

Of the three protagonists in Episode 1, one of them dies. The gak hits the fan right from the start and doesn't stop spraying till the credits roll.

I enjoyed both of them a lot. I'm actually afraid to start their Game of Thrones and Borderlands series for fear I will get hooked on them too.
