The Daemon Possessing Fulgrim's Body
|
So my current army project is a Siege Of Terra/Late Heresy/Scouring era Emperor's Children force as a 40K CSM army (they've been in a squirrely time bubble in the Eye or something.)
As most will know, the EC didn't really contribute to the Siege proper, but spent most of their time cavorting about butchering and torturing the Terran civilian population.
With this in mind, I was thinking I may model some of the vehicles with victims chained/tied to the exterior.
Not being the best sculptor, I'd rather get some models that are already posed, or within an easy conversion, in a manner that would allow me to essentially stick them on. I'd most like to find a model in an 'X' pose to mount on the front of the vehicle.
I'd at least like them mildly SFW, which eliminates Brother Vinni's models, but otherwise I'm open to suggestions on manufacturer, it need not be GW only.

Mantic zombies and ghouls spring to mind. They're plastic (so easy to convert) and already have torture marks + tortured expressions on them. They only tricky part is removing them from their circular base thing, but that ai't so hard.

It's not too hard to remove the base inserts just time consuming. I did it with a squad of marines to use the bodies to mix in with my Elysians as officers & NCOs.

Then there's the Penitent Engine, but I doubt it has a reasonable price-quality rate. That is, unless you'd like to convert the Engine into a daemon engine.

The boxes come with both pilots, so you might find some on the internet, or in bitz boxes, but that's area dependent.
The PP Wracks are all I know of, but you may be able to find some online.

On the other hand, if you know someone who is moderately skilled with green stuff, you could bribe them with burgers to sculpt some rag clothes onto the Vinni models.
