Here is my latest stuff. The rhino was done entirely with a drybrush technique. The Stern are based on old CSMs I had kicking around, but they look pretty imperial to me!

Thanks man! I never really plan portraiture like this, I just kind of go at it...

I guess what I had been planning was that all the freehand would either tell a story about the model, like the dreadnoughts banner, or be a memorial piece commemorating the Planet Moirae, the spiritual home world of the Sons of Medusa. So I guess the lil castle you see here must have been a city or Fort on that planet, before the Empire virus bombed it...

Nice touch then, quite a odd chapter but mine happen to have a overwhelming desire to shove a chainsword into anything non human lol.

Dread banners sound great, maybe have a few nods to it on hull too, dreads have lots of nice flat surfaces to use.

The next big freehand I want to do is a pair of winged hammers on the stormtalon. Dreadnought is already near finished. Go check it out if you like, its just a few threads down
